That way, you just have to follow the method according to the platform you are using.

1. Fetching Twitter timeline HTML code

The first thing you have to do is take the Twitter timeline HTML code which will later be installed on your blog.

It’s like this:

  • Step #1: Open publish.twitter.com in your laptop/PC browser.
  • Step #2: Enter your Twitter profile URL address. Enter https://twitter.com/username. Then, press Enter. View image:

  • Step #3: Select the Embedded Timeline.

  • Step #4: Click on set customization options to set the Twitter timeline widget size later.

  • Step #5: Set the appearance of your Twitter timeline widget. You are given several widget customization options such as: widget size, theme, and language.

When finished, click the Update button.

  • Step #6: After the HTML code appears, click Copy Code.

2. Installing HTML code on the blog

After getting the HTML code, your task now is to install the HTML code in the area you want on your blog.

Here’s how:

  • Step #1: Open Blogger.com in a new tab, then sign in to your account.
  • Step #2: Click Layout on the left of the dashboard.

  • Step #3: Then, click Add a Gadget in the area where you want to put your Twitter timeline.

  • Step #4: Select HTML/JavaScript.

  • Step #5: In the Title field, fill in the title of your widget. In the Content field, enter the HTML code that you copied from https://publish.twitter.com/.

  • Step #6: After that, click Save.

Already. Your Twitter timeline widget is already installed on your blog. Try opening your blog to check whether it is installed or not.

How to Install Twitter Follow Button on Blog

Now, how do you install a Twitter “Follow” button on your blog, so that your visitors can immediately click the button if they want to follow your Twitter account?

The trick, you have to take the HTML code of the follow button from Twitter, then install it in your blog Layout as a widget.

Here’s the tutorial:

1. Retrieve the HTML code of the “Follow” button

Before installing the “Follow” button on the blog, you must first get the HTML code.

It’s like this:

  • Step #1: Open https://publish.twitter.com/ in your laptop/PC browser.
  • Step #2: Enter your Twitter profile URL address. Enter https://twitter.com/username. Then, press Enter. View image:
  • Step #3: Select Twitter Buttons, then select Follow Buttons.

  • Step #4: Click on set customization options to customize the appearance of your “Follow” button.

  • Step #5: Set the appearance of your Twitter “Follow” button. You are given several widget customization options such as: hiding the username, button size, and the language used.

When finished, click the Update button.

  • Step #6: After the HTML code appears, click Copy Code.

2. Installing HTML code on the blog

After successfully getting the HTML code, then the next step is to install the code in one of the layout areas of your blog.

The method is as follows:

  • Step #1: Open Blogger.com in a new tab, then login to your account.
  • Step #2: Click Layout on the left of the dashboard.

  • Step #3: Then, click Add Gadget in the area where you want to put your Twitter “Follow” button.

  • Step #4: Click on HTML/JavaScript.

  • Step #5: In the Title field, fill in the title of your widget. In the Content field, enter the HTML code that you copied from https://publish.twitter.com/.

  • Step #6: After that, click Save.
